South Africa’s Old Vine Heritage
Ever had a glass of wine from a 35-year old vine? What about 50 years old? It’s no secret that old grape vines can be found across the world and are proudly celebrated on countless wine labels. South Africa, however, is the only country that makes it possible to be certified by the regulatory authority that a vine is in fact, an old vine. Dubbed the Old Vine Project, members can claim this incredible accolade if their vines are older that 35 years. This project and experience takes you on a journey of the uniqueness of old vines, the beautiful wines they produce and how these wines reflect the South African landscape and its history.

Cape Winelands Calling
Climb onboard your private helicopter as you head to your first stop of the day – the iconic Cape Winelands. Home to Stellenbosch and Franschhoek, you’ll visit two of South Africa’s most sought-after wine estates for exclusive wine tastings hosted by the estate’s winemaker or viticulturalist. Wine and Dine on the West Coast
Next up, take to the skies as you venture to the West Coast. Passing over vast farmlands, you’ll land at a vineyard perched alongside the crashing waves of the Atlantic Ocean for an exclusive wine tasting. From here, you’ll head to a truly unique dining experience at Wolfgat – voted the ‘World’s Best Restaurant’ in 2019.
