Enjoy a full day guided tour of Johannesburg city that combines both bucket list “must-see” activities as well as insider experiences not offered anywhere else. With so many amazing things to see and experience, this curated private tour can also be specially customized to your own personal interests.

Start your day with a walking tour of Maboneng, voted One of the Twelve Coolest Neighbourhoods in the World by Forbes Magazine. Historically an industrial part of the city, this space has grown into a unique community featuring popular weekend markets, local designers and unique housing developments.

One of the more historic stops in Maboneng, The Cosmopolitan building hosts a variety of interesting histories, local entrepreneurs and the renowned Hazard Gallery which boasts a collection of local contemporary art. The courtyard also features a piece from the world-famous graffiti artist Vhils who’s work can be seen around the globe.

Next up, tick off another bucket list item with a visit to 44 Stanley, a mixed-use urban development with a variety of boutique stores, local fashion designers, independent restaurants and a multitude of foodie artisans with cuisines from across the world.

After lunch, visit the Victoria Yards, another hub of for artists and creatives alike. The concept is based on developing a community that is as much about social development as it is a commercial enterprise. Finally, end your day at the Keyes Art Mile, an iconic strip of local galleries featuring the work of prominent local artists and contemporaries.
