[Half Day Tour] Take to the skies and explore the winelands in your private helicopter with a personal wine specialist guide. This exclusive curated experience showcases the absolute best of the Cape Winelands with three guided wine tastings, a delicious winelands lunch and the most amazing views of the breathtakingly beautiful winelands and surrounding mountain ranges.

Pickup 9am ~ 2pm drop-off.

• Collection from your hotel or accommodation and transfer to the helipad at the V&A Waterfront.
• Fly out to a well-known wine estate in Stellenbosch for your first wine tasting of the day, tasting through a range of world-class wines, setting the tone for the day.
• Your next stop takes you to a winery that produces some of the best examples of South African Chenin blanc and our uniquely local varietal, Pinotage.
• Finish your day at the grand dame of the winelands, Delaire Graff. Enjoy a tour of the estate, a guided wine tasting and lunch (own account) at either of the estates’ world-class restaurants.

There’s nothing better than taking a helicopter flight over the magnificent Cape Winelands. It adds an element of class and luxury to any itinerary. The breathtaking view allows you to fully appreciate the extent of South Africa’s national vineyards and the mountainous terrain that makes up the stunning and varied topography of the Western Cape.

Lift off from the helipad near the V&A Waterfront in your private helicopter and make your way out over the harbour bridge, Table Bay and the gentle swell of the Atlantic Ocean. Take in the iconic view of Table Mountain as well as Lion’s Head and the Cape Town ‘city bowl’ or CBD before you make your way over to the jewels of the Western Cape: the Stellenbosch and Franschhoek winelands. Gaze out over Table Bay to your left and False Bay to your right and the Simonsberg, Helderberg and Hottentots Holland Mountain ranges directly in front of you.

Your Winelands itinerary will be made up of three to four superb wine estates chosen for the quality of their offering – everything from the food, the wine and the views to the service, ambience and setting is taken into account to ensure your experience surpasses all expectations. Our relationships with each estate allows us unfettered access to the cellars, barrel rooms and experiences not available to just anyone. Enjoy conversations with proprietors or winemakers and learn about the deep-seated history and heritage of South Africa’s winemaking tradition.
