For a bohemian bride, an Explore Sideways wine tour is the perfect way to spend the day with family and friends for a hen party (obviously, we’re partial). Cape Town local and brand ambassador for wedding dress designer Bo and Luca, Kirsty Craik, epitomises bohemian beauty. She opted for a flower-crown laden float around the Constantia winelands.

The group started the day at the bride’s aunt’s house to make their own flower crowns while sipping on local bubbly. After Kirsty opened some “unmentionables,” the group carried on to Buitenverwachting where the adorable Thinus Kruger gave a post harvest cellar tour, which included some sneaky tastes from the tank. The tasting concluded as the group lounged underneath the fairytale like draping trees on the estate’s lawn. Thinus wasn’t afraid to join in on the girly fun and even donned his own flower crown for the tasting! The ladies continued onto Eagles Nest estate where they were served cheese and charcuterie platters along with some superb sauvignon blanc and syrah.

Where the rest of the evening continued… we’ll leave that up to your imagination 😉
